Location: Platt College Ontario is located at 3700 Inland Empire Boulevard, one hour west of Palm Springs and 40 miles east of Los Angeles in the San Gabriel Mountain foothills. All students are commuters and live-off campus. Platt also has campuses in Newport Beach and Los Angeles. Admissions: Platt's admissions staff can assist prospective students in the application process, which begins with meeting with the admissions staff to review the school's programs, a tour of campus, and a personal interview. Academics, work experience, and test scores are all factors considered when evaluating a student's application. Financial aid: Platt College offers private loans through Key Bank and Sallie Mae, in addition to participating in Federal financial aid programs. Platt also participates in the California Student Aid Commission's Cal Grant program, which awards grants based on a student's need and academic history. Platt awards scholarships to qualifying students as well. Career Services: The career services department maintains a database of potential employers and job opportunities for students. The staff works individually with students to ensure services meet personal needs and interests.
