Platt College Los Angeles offers career-focused training and education in the information technology, graphic arts and design, and paralegal fields.
Programs::
Location: Our Los Angeles campus is in an ideal location; the greater Los Angeles is easily accessible to beaches, entertainment, cultural experiences, and much more. Most students at this campus are career-minded professionals with either some work experience or prior college courses (though new high school graduates and those looking to enter a new field are always welcome!). Students live off-campus and most commute by car or bus. Admissions: Prospective students are invited to take a tour of the campus, complete an application form and complete an interview with admissions at that time. Each applicant is evaluated on the basis of individual merit, aptitude and enthusiasm. Transferring students and those with prior credit may be awarded up to 48 quarter credits. Financial aid: Our financial aid representatives work with students individually to help them find and acquire the assistance they may need to go Platt College. Students can begin the process by filing for FASFA or by going through our department. Accepted forms of aid include scholarships, grants and loans. Career Services: At Platt College's Career Services Department, we try to make the often-stressful and confusing process of finding a job more manageable. We have an extensive database of employers with job vacancies in the fields we teach, and we also have additional resources including help with the interview process and resumes.
